STEM Engineers visit to the Royal Institution

.

Earlier in 2013 the Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Minister for Universities and Science, authored a pamphlet in which he identified eight technology areas of particular significance and potential economic importance in which the UK's research base was particularly strong. The Minister gave us a fantastic insight into forthcoming funding for Energy-efficient computing, Satellites and commercial applications of space, Robotics, Life sciences, genomics and synthetic biology, Regenerative medicine and nano-technology. The whole first floor was open including the historical library for a reception afterwards. A great British engineering inspiration!
