Charity Week 2011
This year’s charity week raised over ₤15,000 for three very worthwhile charities. The money was divided equally between the Bosnia Half Way House Project, Wings of Hope and the Special Care Baby Unit at the West Middlesex Hospital. The week itself saw a multitude of activities taking place across all of the year groups. Pupils and staff took part in a variety of events including Sumo Wrestling and Strictly Come Bhangra. The week of activities was enjoyed by the school as a whole and in turn the commitment and motivation of pupils and teachers was evident through the amazing success of the week. The week was full of fun-filled activities and events which were enjoyed by all. 9 Palmer raised over ₤600 and will be awarded with a trip in the summer. Thank you to all parents, pupils and staff who took part or helped out in anyway during this very successful week.
