Record Breakers!

In February this year, The Heathland School entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest Chemistry lesson to have ever taken place.

Miss Movey and  Mr Cabro lead years 7,8 and 9 as they discovered the processes behind reaction rates.  The event, which took place in the sports hall and was adjudicated by a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, saw all 3 year groups testing their responses to different sweets.

The previous world record – which was held at 572, was beaten hands down, with a massive 801 people taking part!#
