Courses for parents
ECDL and Etype are E-learning courses that prove recognised proficiency both in keyboard and ICT skills. These courses enable learners to study and take tests at their own pace. Exams will be run at the drop-in sessions which will be on most Thursdays from 4.30pm until 7.30pm term time. (Please email at least one day in advance to confirm attendance) Each assessment and exam last approximately 45 minutes. But you could also just come and ask for help with the online materials.
Interested in enrolling? Then we will require identification, proof of address (e.g. Passport / driving licence and a utility bill) and a nominal fee of £20 for each course, to cover part of the administration cost.
