GCSE HIGHLIGHTS 2013
There was a significant improvement in GCSE results at The Heathland School in 2013 with an impressive 75% of the Year 11 cohort achieving the key indicator of 5 or more A*-C grades including English Language and Mathematics. These results have enabled the large majority of pupils to progress to A levels as the next stage of their education.
AS HIGHLIGHTS 2013
An excellent set of results in 2013 with 43% of all grades being A or B. 14 Heathland students achieved grade A in 4 subjects.
A2 LEVEL HIGHLIGHTS 2013
Heathland students achieved outstanding ‘A’ level results in 2013. 46% of all grades were A* - B. We are particularly pleased to note that more than 190 students gained their university places. 15 students achieved all A*and A grades and 2 students achieved places to read Medicine and Mathematics respectively at Oxford University.
APPLIED GCE HIGHLIGHTS 2013
The School achieved excellent results in Applied GCE courses, particularly in Applied Business Studies. Many students have progressed from the Applied GCE programme to prestigious universities.
