The Heathland School is an 11-18 oversubscribed school with over 1800 students on roll and a large (500+) Sixth Form.

A qualified teacher is required for April 2024 or September 2024 to join a supportive and highly successful large Science department. A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics is extremely popular in the Sixth Form, students are enthusiastic, and a large number of students go onto University to study Science related degrees.
