Earthshot trip to Kew Gardens - click here for more information

Please enter an introduction for your news story here.

Twenty one of our year eight students travelled to Kew Gardens to take part in a climate workshop where they were challenged to come up with ideas to solve problems facing the environment. They managed to come up with over one hundred incredible ideas in under thirty minutes which they then presented to guests who included The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Mayor of London, Steve Backshall and Helen Glover. The guests were all extremely impressed with our student’s confidence and range of ideas. Prince William remarked that one student independently came up with an idea that is already being implemented in Rwanda, this is testament to the quality of discussion between our students.
