I think therefore I am… on a philosophy trip.

On Friday 4th November, we walked to Bloomsbury Central Baptist Cathedral, where we participated in a day conference by British academic, Dr Peter Vardy. He led discussions on various issues such as: Medical Ethics, War, Poverty and Justice and Sex and Relationships. Heathland students participated in two debates, the first on the use of drones to gather intelligence, and the second on the ethics of altering genetic material to manipulate human offspring.
