The Department for Education has published school league tables that places The Heathland in the top 2% of schools nationally for progress at GCSE.
The validated GCSE Progress 8 score from Summer 2018 is 0.81 and places us 131st in the country. This is a fantastic achievement, following the excellent outcomes in the Sixth Form, with large number taking up places at Russell Group Universities including four students who are now studying at Oxford.
The national league tables confirm The Heathland’s longstanding record of high achievement. The flow of news we receive from our former pupils indicate they have gained the personal values that enable them to build successful careers in many different professions.
