Students from the Bronze, Silver and Gold extra-curricular groups all attended a 1st Aid course all day Sunday 2 February held in school. It was run, not only as a qualification for ‘First Aid at Work’, but also as an outdoors Duke of Edinburgh Expedition course with particular focus on the types of challenges and problems that might arise during the students’ expeditions into the countryside. Many gory pictures and dramatic video clips were on hand to reinforce the relevance and importance of this crucial health & safety preparation, and all students are certainly wiser and better prepared for any challenges that might arise during their expeditions!
