As part of an event organised by PiXL to prepare students for Oxbridge we attended a workshop at Henry Wood House Langham Place, London on the 7th of October. When we arrived they spoke to us about the application process which was very useful especially as we were in the process of writing our personal statements. We were able to hear about the different stages of the application process at both oxford and Cambridge as there was a representative from each of the universities. As a group we went through an example interview question which was helpful to get general idea of what the interviewers are looking for. We then split into groups of similar subjects and went through some related questions as a group, it was interesting to see what the other people did to try and answer questions alongside you. Overall it was a good experience and we will be looking over the example questions that they gave us at the end as a form of preparation for the interviews.
