A wide variety of speakers and outside organisations have spoken to pupils throughout the school including

 

- all year groups taking part in an anti-knife crime awareness presentation,

- year seven watching a road safety event and

- year nine having a talk and workshop with transport for London around sexual harassment and travelling safely.

 

Developing a very successful whole school initiative around British Values week, in particular the British values poster competition that all year seven take part in.

 

Pupils regularly take part in the Hounslow Youth Parliament initiative

 

The department led a cross borough network trial for MIND workshops with a selection of Year 11 pupils regarding mental health issues

 

All Year 11 pupils had specific workshops focussing on homophobic bullying by Diversity Role Models. This is a group who we have worked very closely with for the last 7 years.

 

Targeted Year 10 pupils have enjoyed workshops on financial awareness and money matters.
