Economics is a subject that allows you to understand the reasoning behind the behaviour of firms and individuals as well as Governments. In response Governments intervene to correct such behaviours so that vulnerable agents in the economy such as us as consumers and workers are not exploited. What is fair and acceptable in our country and world is fully analysed so that you are able to understand your rights and responsibilities. Economics will equip you with the knowledge and analysis to evaluate the reasoning and impact of national and global policies and what this means for our society and communities.
