Term Time Admissions

All pupils and their parents/guardians requesting admission to The Heathland School are required to contact The Civic Centre, Department of Children’s Services and Lifelong Learning, in the first instance. If a place is available in the particular Year Group, parents/ guardians will be informed in writing by the Local Authority. The school should then be contacted to arrange an interview with the Deputy Head [Pupil Support]. Sixth Form pupils should arrange an appointment with the Director of Sixth Form. At the interview, school expectations and procedures are explained, and the first day of school is agreed. Parents/Guardians are expected to agree to uphold the school values if their children attend the school. We believe the home-school partnership is vital for a pupil to achieve his/her best.
